Dear Parent/Carer, 

Programme of International Visits

I am delighted to be able to share with you our programme of international trips that the academy will make available to students over the next two years. These visits will provide our students with the opportunity to engage in rich cultural and sporting experiences. We are proposing to run the following international visits during school holidays:

| 2023 – 2024 | TBC | Skiing - Italy

Paris & Disneyland (France) by coach 

Students will spend time exploring the cultural landmarks of Paris, evening meal in the Hard Rock Cafe. Students will then enjoy two days at Disneyland.

AC Milan Football Tour by air 

Students will participate in a football development programme. They will benefit from coaching sessions at the training complex where they will be treated like professional players. Whilst in Italy; students will be exposed to the local culture, take part in a stadium tour of the famous San Siro and have the opportunity to play a fixture against local opposition.

Skiing by air 

During the daytime, students will enjoy four days on the slopes skiing with fully qualified ski instructors. During the evenings; students will take part in a range of après ski activities including ice skating, tobogganing, pizza night and an end of trip celebratory awards evening.

Invitation to Information Evening at Outwood Academy City: 

Further information about these trips will be available on Wednesday 8th June at an information evening here at the academy. We will hold two presentations focussing on the two trips in the holidays of 2023.

1745 – 1830 AC Milan Football Tour

 

Staff will be around to discuss the Skiing trip opportunity but please note we won’t have a presentation for this option until September 2022. Individual trip letters will be available from myself and a deposit of £150 will be required, this will be paid on your child’s iPay account.
