Sale of Unused Section of Land at Outwood Academy City

Outwood Academy City and Outwood Grange Academies Trust (the multi academy trust) would like to know your view on the proposal to allow the sale of an unused piece of land at Outwood Academy City.
The land borders the playing fields and is unused due to being hedgerow that is outside our fence line. The profit from this sale will be ring fenced to Outwood Academy City and used for the benefit of our students who attend or will attend the school. The school would look to use the funds to develop an outdoor space for students that is adjacent to the dining room extension. There is also the will to develop raised beds in the science garden to have a student gardening club, including the purchase of a potting shed and greenhouse.
All the proceeds, in their entirety, from the sale of the land would be used to enhance Outwood Academy City, the experience and learning opportunities for our students and the community we serve.
